Earlier West German Cold War gun manufactured in 1963-64. Features the typical Weatherby style walnut stock with rakish Monte Carlo comb, hand cut diamond skip checkering, pistol grip with contrasting cap and forend tip, high polish blue finish, Sauer action, ramp front sight, single standing leaf on base rear sight, double set triggers, swivels, and Weatherby rubber recoil pad. Rifle sports a Hensoldt scope with claw mounts and an adjustable rear base. It appears as if this Weatherby was made for the European market which are seldom seen on this side of the pond. CONDITION: Excellent. The barrel retains approximately 95% bright blue with some scattered handling marks. The stocks show some areas of finish loss and some impressions. Action is smooth, set triggers work. Bore is bright.
