Made by the Joslyn Fire Arms Co. in Stonington, Connecticut. This example is in .52 rimfire and is serial numbered 11 on breech cover, which has the three line Joslyn 1862 patent legend. Features a brass trigger guard, barrel band, and butt plate. The lock plate has the Joslyn address legend. Standard pinched integral front sight, two leaf folding rear sight, blue finish, walnut stock with sling bar and ring. CONDITION: Fine. The stock is solid with some usual dings and bruises. Barrel retains majority of dulling blue finish. The lock colors have darkened. No visible stock cartouche. There is a small hairline in front of hammer. Bore is bright. Action is fine.
