An excellent example of a Vietnam War era Randall Model 2-7 Fighting Stiletto. The blade is marked "RANDALL MADE / ORLANDO FLA." between Randall's signature scimitars. The blade remains bright with visible cross graining and light blemishes. Reverse blade is marked "CAPT. BENNETT M. MODEL / 5TH SPECIAL FORCES GROUP ABN". The knife features a downturned brass crossguard with red, white, and black spacers. Brass pommel features similar spaces that border the stacked leather washer grip with center swell. The knife is housed in its original black leather scabbard with stainless snap. The sharpening stone and pocket were removed, most likely to make the knife more convenient while carrying with full gear. Reverse belt loop is marked with Randall's football logo. Scabbard remains supple with light blemishes. A complete roster of the 5th Special Forces during the Vietnam War is not readily available to the public and the knife will require more research to discover Captain Model's service record. CONDITION: Good.
