The RE stamp before serial number means regular frame with auto ejectors. This is a Hunter Arms stamped gun made in 1923. All matching numbers but the checkered walnut beavertail forearm was added to the original numbered metal and is a bit darker than the stock. Features the engraved case color sidelock frame. Also features double triggers, blued barrels with raised rib, single bead front sight, automatic ejectors, London steel. The checkered stock features a pistol grip, black grip cap, and an added solid red Galazan buttplate. CONDITION: Excellent. The frame retains some fading case colors. The barrel blue is thinned. Legends are sharp. Stock is excellent with some light dings and added finish. Forearm is excellent with minor impressions. Bores are still clean. Tight lock up.
