Only 4213 if these were made in 1841-42 at the Harpers Ferry Armory. This example is dated 1841. The breech is stamped with "H. Ferry US 1841". Finish was brown lacquer with a case color breech block. Walnut stock is nearly full length with three barrel bands, has metal rod, swivels, and iron butt plate. CONDITION: Excellent. Barrel retains approximately 85% of the brown finish. Block colors have darkened. Stock is excellent with usual minor dings and there is one repaired hairline on right side at wrist. The bore is extremely defined with minor abrasions. Action works correctly.
