Manufactured in Budapest in classic military configuration. Altered by the Hungarian government after 1930 for use with 8x50mmR rather than 8x56mmR, marked with "S" on barrel shank. Matching serial numbers observed on front barrel band, barrel, receiver, bolt knob, and right side of stock. Imported by C.A.I., and is marked on barrel near front sight. CONDITION: Very Good. Mechanically fine. Bore is frosted with crisp rifling.
