The leather barrel covering is missing on this carbine but rear mounting screws are present. In addition, the letters CMD are found stamped four times on left side of frame and three times on left side of stock. Otherwise, standard configuration with a replaced single leaf rear sight, front sight on band, walnut stock with brass butt plate and sling swivel. Patent and Sharps legends on both sides of frame. CONDITION: Good. All metal is now a brown patina. Legends are sharp. Stock is solid with scattered dings and dents. Working order. Bore is strong but has some abrasion.
