Metal has turned overall mottled dark gray and brown. Stock is a straight grip style with a steel carbine butt plate with cleaning kit opening. Stock has not been examined to see if cleaning kit cavity is actually there, or merely a butt plate added later. M1884 Buffington rear sight added as a later date replacement. Stock is absent of any inspection cartouches due to dryness and heavy period wear. Bore is dark and dirty. CONDITION: Good /relic.
