Built in 1919 and cut for the Pederson devise and was then rebuilt for WWII. The Springfield barrel is dated 8-44 and has original WWII era 1903 rear sight with non-dished screws, smooth butt plate with trap, replaced no finger groove walnut stock, handguard with 2.5" sight groove, no stock bolts, re-applied blue matte finish and milled parts. Comes with a wood handle US 1902 stamped bayonet with an 11 5/8" blade. The only visible cartouche is the partial proof P under wrist. CONDITION: Very good. The stock has numerous dings and bruises. Metal shows some marks, especially on floor plate. Bore is sharp but frosted.
