1938 dated military luger. S/42 code on the front toggle link. Numbered in the military style with the military acceptance proofs on the right side of the receiver. Inverted V front and a V notch rear sights. Two piece checkered wood grips. Straw small parts. All the numbers match to include aluminum bottom magazine. It has GELADEN on the left side of the extractor and GESICHERT in the upper position of the thumb safety lever. CONDITION: This gun retains the vast majority of the reapplied blue finish and the reapplied straw color. There is some high edge wear. The checkering on the grips shows some slight wear. The magazine bottom is a modern reproduction. The checkering on the grips has been recut. Fair bore with well defined lands and grooves.
