1939 dated military luger. 42 code on the front toggle link. Numbered in the military style with the military acceptance proofs on the right side of the receiver. Inverted V front and a V notch rear sights. Two piece checkered wood grips. All blue gun. All the numbers match except the aluminum bottom magazine. It is numbered S/42. It has GELADEN on the left side of the extractor and GESICHERT in the upper position of the thumb safety lever. CONDITION: This gun retains the vast majority of the reapplied blue finish. There is some high edge wear. The checkering on the grips shows some slight wear. There is a small chip on the left grip at the safety lever. Good bore with well defined lands and grooves.
