There are many theories about these KI. 1933 chamber dated guns. Some people say they all went to a military or a paramilitary unit. Some say it is a rebuilders mark. This gun has been rebuilt and it has an Eagle 6 proof on the barrel. So Simpson had it at one time or they manufacture the barrel for it. On the right side of the receiver next to the WW1 military acceptance stamps is a WW2 Waffenamt. The front toggle is marked ERFURT with a crown. The front toggle link has been re-numbered. The magazine is a DWM magazine and numbered 502a. The extra magazine is a Mauser type two that is numbered 7010n+. The firing pin is number 31. The complete gun has been parkerized. CONDITION: This gun retains virtually all of the aftermarket parkerized finish. The checkering on the wood grips shows some slight wear.
