1940 dated military luger. 42 code on the front toggle link. Numbered in the military style with the military acceptance proofs on the right side of the receiver. Inverted V front and a V notch rear sights. Two piece checkered wood grips. All blue gun. All the numbers match except the FXO aluminum bottom magazine. It is numbered 7964u. It has GELADEN on the left side of the extractor and GESICHERT in the upper position of the thumb safety lever. CONDITION: This gun retains the vast majority of the factory original blue finish. There is some high edge wear. The checkering on the grips is sharp and crisp. Shiny bore with sharp lands and grooves.
