1936 dated military luger. S/42 code on the front toggle link. Numbered in the military style with the military acceptance proofs on the right side of the receiver. Inverted V front and a V notch rear sights. Two piece checkered wood grips. Strawed small parts. All the numbers match to include the aluminum bottom magazine. It has GELADEN on the left side of the extractor and GESICHERT in the upper position of the thumb safety lever. CONDITION: This gun retains the vast majority of the factory original blue finish. There is some high edge wear and the grip straps are starting to thin. Straw color is starting to fade a little. The checkering on the grips shows some slight wear. Bright and shiny bore with sharp lands and grooves.
