Early 1902 Luger Carbine with dished toggles and a toggle lock. Sold commercially in Europe and the United States. It has a ramp front sight and a three position rear carbine sight. Checkered panel contoured wood forestock and a detachable checkered panel rear stock. Wide grip safety with two piece checkered wood grips. Nickel magazine with a blank wood bottom. The gun has all matching numbers. The front sling swivel is missing off of the forestock. The rear stock is a modern copy. It has a steel buttplate with a checkered panel at the wrist. The attaching iron is not numbered. CONDITION: This gun retains the vast majority of the factory original blue finish. There is some high edge wear and the front grip strap is starting to thin out. Straw colors are very good with some slight fading. The checkering on the forestock and the grips is sharp and crisp. Good bore with well defined lands and grooves. The rear stock is a lighter color than the rest of the gun.
