1908 first issue military luger. Hold open has been added. Numbered in the commercial style with the military acceptance proofs on the left side of the receiver. Inverted V front and a V notch rear sights. Two piece checkered wood grips. Without a stock lug. Strawed small parts. All the numbers match except the wood bottom magazine. It is numbered 4241f. It has GELADEN on the left side of the extractor and GESICHERT in the upper position of the thumb safety lever. There is a unit mark on the front grip strap 39.R.8.2. CONDITION: This gun retains the vast majority of the factory original blue finish. There is some high edge wear. The checkering on the grips shows some wear. Fair bore with some light pitting and frosting in the lands and grooves. A nice original first issue luger.
