This WWI issued Army revolver has the eagle head inspector stamp on upper left side of frame. Base of barrel stamped UNITED STATES PROPERTY. Butt is stamped US ARMY MODEL 1917. Arsenal blue finish, fixed sights, six shot double action, two piece smooth walnut grips and lanyard ring. CONDITION: Very good. Retains approximately half the blue finish mixing patina, some age freckling and thinning on sides of barrel. Colt barrel legends are crisp. Grips are very good with scattered dings. Action is fine with a strong bore. This is a war veteran with a homogenous finish.
