The Mark IV revolvers were ordered by the British government to fill the short fall of Enfield No. 2 revolvers during WWII and are basically in the same configuration. Matte arsenal finish with numerous British proof marks. This gun has a six point star on left side with a number 1. Israeli officers were wearing Webley revolvers into the 1970s but other authorities state that they were never issued there. The grips are standard checkered black Webley marked and sports a lanyard. Also comes with a W&S stamped canvas holster dated 1941 with ammo pouch. CONDITION: Fine. Retains majority of the matte finish with overall high edge holster and handling wear. Action is fine. Bore is bright There is an import stamp under barrel.
