Factory letter indicates shipment as a 4 - 3/4" .22 to Fred Kroner Hardware Company, La Crosse, Wisconsin on October 31st, 1939, in a shipment of one. The Ace is built on standard A-1 frame, fitted with a .22 caliber barrel and a two tone Colt Ace marked .22 magazine. Right side of slide has the Ace in diamond Colt caliber legend. The left side of slide has the Colt two line patent dates legend with Pony. Finish is blue.
