A vintage Mauser action is the basis of this rifle with an added heavy round McGowen barrel chambered for the large .50 Alaskan cartridge. The crown is recessed. Finish is brightly polished blue with a ramp front sight and a Williams adjustable rear sight. The custom oil finished walnut stock is hand checkered and has a pistol grip with contrasting rosewood cap and forearm tip, straight comb, roll over cheek piece, solid brown pad, and sling eyes. Rifle sports a Burris 1.75-5x scope with quick release mounts. CONDITION: Excellent. Scope has crisp optics. Rifle shows in as new condition as built with minute handling marks. Bore is bright. This is a very handsome and high quality dangerous game custom rifle.
