The Kongsberg M1914 was largely identical to the Colt M1911, except for a few features. The M1914 handguns were manufactured at the Kongsberg Armory from 1914 to 1948. This gun is dated 1925 on right side of slide and has all visible matching numbers with double diamond checkered walnut grips, flat main spring housing with loop and the lanyard loop magazine. All small parts are checkered to include the wide spur hammer. Finish is a matte blue. CONDITION: Fine: Gun shows overall high edge wear, probably from holster. All legends are sharp. Grips are excellent. Bore is strong but lightly frosted. Gun has a discreet import stamp at well.
