Manufactured in occupied Czechoslovakia beginning in 1941, production ended in mid-1942 after facilities were retooled to produce standard issue K98 rifles. The G.24(t) is essentially a modified Czech vz. 24 rifle, this early example built with some "CZ" marked components. Rifle features full blued finish, protected blade front sight with flip up hood, tangent rear, and red glue laminate stocks. Externally visible numbers matching. No visible import marks. Complete with a nice cross hatch pattern period leather sling. CONDITION: Very fine. Nearly all of the rich arsenal applied blue is retained throughout with mild high edge wear and handling. Some toning present on bolt handle and butt plate. Stock is very fine appearing almost un-issued with a few scattered impressions. Fine bore and mechanics. A great example of a hard to find World War II German issue rifle.
