Manufactured at Oberndorf in 1942 with "byf / 42" receiver code. Features include blued finish, hooded blade front sight, tangent rear, eagle over "H" Heer acceptance stamped red glue laminate stocks, milled mounts, and a cupped butt plate. Externally visible numbers matching. No visible import marks. Complete with a nice period cross hatch pattern leather sling. CONDITION: Very Good. Approximately 90% arsenal finish. Stock has expected dings, nicks, and wear. Markings still largely legible. Well defined bore with some frosting. Fine mechanics.
