Steel bead front sight on a low profile vent rib with machine cut anti-glare matting. Left side of top barrel with Browning's Japan rollmark, right side with designation for a 28" with 3" chambers and Special Steel designation. Browning choke codes for Full over Modified. Game forearm with recesses for finger grooves, and fit with a Deely latch release with modified point pattern checkering about the latch. Interior with matching partial numbers stamped into wood and on interior iron. Blued boxlock action with Citori rollmark on bottom. Gold washed trigger with non-automatic safety with "S" ahead of slide, "O" and "U" abutting for barrel selector positions. Long tang square knob stock with sidepanels and checkering in a point pattern about the wrist. Browning waffle recoil pad. Housed in a Browning case. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining the vast majority of the reapplied bluing on the barrels with some scattered handling marks and silvering throughout, predominantly at sharp edges and areas such as where forearm makes contact. Forearm very good with some scattered handling marks, predominantly on left side (perhaps from a right handed shooter wearing a ring and a watch?) and microchips at fangs. Action very good, virtually all of the factory bluing with some thinning to sharp edges. Stock very good, with scattered handling marks, impressions, and a few abraded heads to checkering. Mechanically fine, ejectors strong and in time, bores very good with some firing residue.
