One of the scarcest Colts manufactured and only made in two barrel lengths, 4” and 6”. The Colt Factory archive letters confirm the configuration of this pair, and indicates shipment to Lew Horton Distr. Co., Inc. 175 Boston Road Southboro, MA. on March 28, 1985. These revolvers were manufactured in 1985 only, and Lew Horton bought the whole production run of 1200 units. With ribbed barrels, ramp front sights, and fully adjustable rear sights. Checkered rosewood grips with gold Rampant Colt medallions on each grip. All the legends on the barrel are crisp. Both guns are import marked "SIMPSON LTD GALESBURG, ILL". Accompanied by the original factory wood grain boxes and a wooden display case for both guns. CONDITION: Both guns retains virtually all of the factory applied high polish royal blue finish. There is a very light turn line on the cylinder. Bright and shiny bore with sharp lands and grooves. Sharp and crisp checkering on the near mint grips.
