This is a 2nd type, converted to percussion. Lock has eagle head and US while near rear is stamped "A. WATERS 1820". The barrel is stamped with US and eagle head as well. Features full length walnut stock, no rear sight, bayonet lug on top of barrel, iron rod, and metal finished in-the-white. Three bands and metal rod. CONDITION: Very good. Barrel is soft brown patina. Stock is solid with minor dings. Lock shows some oxidation. Working order. Bore is dark.
