An updated version of the 1871 Mauser, the first repeating bolt action rifle adopted by Germany. Dated 1888. Classic original military configuration with blued barrel, blade front sight, ladder rear, and walnut stock. Butt plate unit marked "10.R.E. / 1. 225." CONDITION: Very Good with a few areas of oxidation. Very fine, crisp and bright bore.
