Lot consists of: (A) K98 originally manufactured in 1943. Rifle retains its original blued finish with full length barrel and standard sights. Action drilled and tapped for a scope mount, no longer present. Walnut military stock and butt plate have been reworked into a more sporting style. Floorplate likewise have been converted to open easier with an extended button. Bolt does not match. No visible import marks. CONDITION: Good with some areas of oxidation. Well defined bore. (B) 1923 dated Spanish Mauser carbine with reapplied finish, blade front sight, 2000 meter ladder rear, and modified walnut stock. Mixed numbers. No visible import marks. CONDITION: Good. Worn and abraded bore.
