The factory letter states that this gun was shipped on August 30, 1934 in a 75 gun shipment to Phelps Dodge Mercantile Co. in Bisbee, Arizona. Standard blue finish, small checkered trigger, checkered wide spur hammer, checkered slide stop and safety, checkered main spring housing, checkered walnut grips, two tone tempered magazine, bevel edge U-notch rear sight. CONDITION: Excellent. Retains at least 93% blue finish, sharp legends, overall high edge slide wear with scattered handling marks. Bore is bright. Comes with a much later post war box and manual. Gun has discreet import stamp at magazine well.
