Deeply rifled octagon barrel with a "DEMUTH / WARRANTED" lockplate converted to percussion. Plain brass furniture including a two piece patchbox and a sideplate with two piercings. Highly figured tiger maple stock with Roman nose form to buttstock. Complete with period wooden ramrod. CONDITION: Barrel retains a brown patina. Lock retains a grey brown patina and needs adjusted to stay in full cock. Brass has a mustard patina. Stock dry and showing scattered marks from use.
