Probably John Schneider. Three-stage barrel with notched rear sight and brass front blade sight. "WARRANTED" lock converted to percussion. Simple brass furniture including two piece patchbox. Fine highly figured tiger maple stock with Roman nose comb. Complete with its original wood ramrod. CONDITION: Barrel retains a soft brown patina, some pitting to breech area. Lock cleaned and showing some pitting, functions properly. Brass retains a pleasing dark mustard patina. Stock has some marks from use and a repaired break around forend near ramrod entry ferrule.
