Per the included factory letter, this pistol shipped as a 5" 10mm with blue finish, black rubber combat stocks, and further equipped with a long trigger, lowered ejection port, beveled magazine well, and high profile white dot sights. It shipped to Lew Horton Distributing Company, Southboro, Massachusetts, on November 8th, 1988, in a shipment of 15. Other features include Commander style ring hammer, serrated small parts, downswept grip safety, arched serrated mainspring housing, and typical legends for this model. Discretely import marked at magazine well for Simpson. Housed in a one piece Colt maroon box with styrofoam insert and factory paperwork. CONDITION: Excellent. NOS or equivalent, with some minor handling marks. Legends with distension from application. Some minor silvering to reciprocating areas, such as trigger. Mechanically fine, bore has strong rifling and even frosting in the grooves throughout. Box very good with some rubs and typical age related distress, but complete and whole.
