This partially restored rifle features a heavy octagon barrel. Lock stamped "UNITED / STATES" at tail and has a partially visible "KETLAND & CO" in center. Brass York County furniture including a four piece patchbox with engraved "NC" upside down on lid and an edelweiss finial. Tiger maple stock. CONDITION: Barrel retains a dark patina, except for touchhole area polished bright and undrilled. Lock is partially converted back to flint. Brass has varying patina. Stock good with a splinter on forend on right side and a chip at toe. A good project that only needs minimal work.
