The octagon barrel is stamped by barrel maker "H.W. DEEDS" on the left flat at the breech. The replaced lock is stamped "PARTRIDGE / WARRENTED" in the center. The brass furniture includes a two piece patchbox with two engraved crescent moons. The toeplate is engraved with an edelweiss. The figured tiger maple stock is of classic Lehigh form. Ramrod a modern replacement. CONDITION: Barrel retains a brown patina, some pitting at breech and large hole where drum was removed. Lock is a good professional reconversion. Brass retains a pleasing light mustard patina. One lock bolt is absent. Stock shows some scattered marks from use.
