This is a very nice contemporary rifle in the John Armstrong style and features an octagon barrel in the white, a brass lockplate signed by the maker "Peter Alexander" and extensively engraved silver and brass furniture. The figured tiger maple stock is of Armstrong form and has well executed relief carving throughout. The rifle has double-set-triggers. CONDITION: Some light storage marks, showing little use. Some green patina on lockplate and light frost on barrel and iron lock components. Lock functions well and properly.
