Lot consists of: (A) Unsigned percussion full-stock Lehigh County rifle with two-piece engraved patchbox, forend wear plate engraved with Allentown Indian head, and cheekpiece engraved with a folky eagle. Octagon barrel and percussion lock marked "MOORE". CONDITION: Cleaned and varnished throughout, lock and barrel pitted. Stock shows breaks and some losses. (B) Melchior Fordney Kentucky rifle. Barrel engraved and lock stamp-engraved. Breech altered. Tiger maple half-stock with engraved Fordney patchbox, trigger guard, and sideplate. Replaced wooden ramrod. CONDITION: Cleaned overall with some lacquer. Lock worn and pitted, hammer cracked, but mechanism is strong. Stock shows scattered marks from use, cracks, and small repairs.
