Manufactured as part of a World War I Russian contract by Westinghouse in 1915. This nice example remains in full military configuration with factory blued finish, blade front sight, early style rear sight, hex receiver, and finger groove American walnut stocks. Complete with M91 pattern cruciform bayonet and web sling. No visible import markings, likely indicating this example never left the US. CONDITION: Near excellent. Approximately 90% original finish with mild wear. Bolt has developed some areas of brown patina but remains largely bright. Stocks are fine with some scattered impressions. Strong, well defined bore. Fine mechanics.
