These altered US Trapdoor rifles were made to look like the Brown Bess muskets and were carried by the extras representing the Mexican army in the John Wayne classic film "The Alamo". Stocks were altered, faux flintlock hammer and pan were added but they could still be fired with 45-70 blanks. Large brass barrel bands were added and a Brown Bess style white slings were also added to give them the appearance of a gun used in 1830s. CONDITION: Good. Deep patina and numerous scuffs and dents on stock but still in working order.
