This rifle was built using an original Remington Hepburn action. It now has an RWS heavy octagon to round barrel. The custom made walnut stock has a pistol grip, is fitted, and needs final finishing. The butt plate is a checkered Model 70 type but easily replaced with something more appropriate. The forearm is basically fitted but needs a bit more sanding and finish. Caliber is not stamped on barrel. Rifle has a new long range tang sight and globe sight. The barrel is nicely blued. Case color the frame and finish the wood and you will have a fine rifle. CONDITION; Frame is brown patina with legible legends on left side of frame. Stock has some nice grain. Bore is bright.
