The barrels are stamped with crossed pistols which would indicate they were sourced from Lindner which explains the delicate English full coverage tight and delicate scroll engraving on the entire receiver with dog scenes on both sides. There is a great dog scene on trigger guard as well. The beautiful browned Damascus barrels have manual extractors, superb pattern with engraved bands at breech. The receiver was case color with blue release, exposed hammers, side lock actions with double triggers. The hand cut checkered round knob walnut stock has a horn cap and black butt plate with matching splinter forearm. The rib has a strong Golcher Philadelphia legend. There is a gold ID plaque at base of stock. CONDITION: Excellent. Barrels retain nearly all their pattern and brown finish just thinning a bit, mostly near breech. Receiver shows flashes of color in protected area but basically soft grey. Stock is excellent with sharp checkering and scattered light impressions. Forearm in like condition with engraved metal. Bores are bright. Lock up is tight. Fine working order. This is a very high grade shotgun.
