As part of the 2020 reissue of the Colt Python, Colt produced a limited run of Employee Edition Pythons, which were 6" Pythons with special factory engraving and specifically created for Colt employees. Accompanied by a Colt letter signed by Kevin R. Langevin, VP of R&D, describing the gun as a 6" Stainless Python with Class B laser cut engraving, pattern designed by John Pease, the well known Colt Master Engraver, and gold filled legends, including "PYTHON 2020 / .357 MAGNUM" on left side of barrel, "COLT'S MFG, HARTFORD, CT USA" on right, and gold Rampant Pony on frame; oil rubbed walnut grips with silver medallions and a special "EE" suffix serve to further set the gun apart. Features are otherwise as standard with orange insert front sight and adjustable square notch rear sight. Housed in the Colt blue plastic case with factory paperwork, lock, and sampler of Lucas Oil. CONDITION: Excellent, NOS or equivalent, with some scattered handling marks and some superficial scratches common to stainless finishes. Mechanically fine, bore with some firing residue, probably from proof. Case fine.
