Manufactured in 1896. Features a full tapered octagon barrel with two line barrel legend and stamped 38WCF at breech. The top receiver bridge is factory grooved. There is a dovetailed front sight, a custom-made rear sight, and a tang sight. Equipped with a set trigger. The walnut stock has a rifle butt plate and the forearm has the ebony insert. Under forearm is stamped "22" and there is a number 1 barrel weight stamp on base of barrel. The stock and forearm match in tone. Wood is proud to metal. There is a single set trigger. CONDITION: Very good. The barrel is a smooth patina with sharp barrel legends. The receiver is also grey patina. Stocks are excellent, minor impressions and small chip at toe. Bore is clean and defined but has a few abrasions.
