The full length stock is stamped twice each, "ESA" for Erskine Allin and "FWS" for Frederick Sanderson. Barrel and frame have matching serial numbers on left side. Block is dated 1870 with eagle head. Lock is stamped with "US SPRINGFIELD" with eagle. Features a full length walnut stock, two bands, swivels, metal rod with a ladder rear sight, 1 - 7/8" arch under block. Barrel and bands finished in-the-white, balance blued. CONDITION: Excellent. The barrel has taken on a coin-toned hue as have all the white parts. Blue frame retains majority of finish. Stocks are excellent with a bright bore and working condition. Fine rifle.
