Built in 1921. Case colored boxlock action features game bird and border engraving. Damascus barrels are blued and feature maker legend on matted rib with single bead front sight and ejectors. Gun has matching serial numbers, double triggers, walnut stock, checkered pistol grip with cap, and dog head butt plate. There is a small silver plate at base with initials "HBS". There is an old 1/2" compass set on comb along with a matching splinter forearm with some engraving. CONDITION: Very good. The frame is grey patina with bright colors where not exposed. Barrels are a pleasing mix of blue and gunmetal with a great pattern, no visible dents, and clean bores. Stocks are excellent with minimal impressions. Lock up is tight.
