Built in 1921. This gun has matching numbers on barrels and frame, but forearm is number 169885. Features a case colored boxlock action, double triggers, blued barrels, and extractors. Maker legend stamped on matted rib with single bead front sight. Walnut stock has the checkered pistol grip with cap and plain gutta percha butt plate and a splinter forearm. CONDITION: Very good. Buttplate has a large chip missing and is not a dog's head, shy to metal with extra finish, chip at lower tang, and with scattered dings. The barrels show flashes of blue but mostly a freckled grey appearance. Frame shows no exposed case color and is a soft patina. Bores are clean with a tight action.
