Production of the Model 1907 ran from 1908 to 1914, the pistol serving as a main sidearm of the Austro-Hungarian Empire in World War I. This early example was manufactured by Steyr and proofed in Vienna in 1909. Standard drift adjustable blade front sight and v-notch rear. Rather than utilizing a detachable magazine, these pistols are fed with stripper clips and an internal magazine. Grips are serrated walnut, the right inlaid with an "AM / 29" unit marked disk. CONDITION: Excellent. Approximately 98% original blue with some mild scratched and other handling marks. Grips have some light impressions, the serrations largely remaining sharp. Bore is bright with well defined rifling. Some cleaned light oxidation spotting present in the groves. Fine mechanics. A tremendous example.
