This example has the SC bomb 2-44 date. The frame is stamped Remington, made at different plants but Remington assisted as well as inspected the Corona company. February was also the last month of production for this firm so it is highly likely this gun was assembled just as it is. The stock has the FJA Frank Atwood cartouche with ordnance wheel and RA. with P under wrist and several sub inspector stamps. Standard features include the parkerized finish, pressed steel parts, checkered steel butt plate with trap, plain straight grip walnut stock and matching forearm as well as the A3 rear sight. CONDITION: Fine. Retains majority of dull finish with scattered handling marks. The stock is excellent, solid, with usual scattered dings. The bore is bright.
