Built on the square butt N-frame, 5-screw, pinned barrel, commercial blue finish, case color hammer and trigger, smooth two piece walnut grips and lanyard ring. Has matching serial number on back of cylinder and under barrel. The upper left side of frame has the flaming bomb stamp with eagle head S6 near trigger guard. The eagle head is also found stamped on back of cylinder and barrel as well. "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" is stamped at base of barrel while US ARMY MODEL 1917 is stamped at butt. Comes with a TexTan 42 dated holster. CONDITION: Excellent. About the only blue wear is a hint at muzzle, light drag line and some minor patina flaking, 3/4", near guard, otherwise, a solid 98% with strong legends. Strong case color, some bright on hammer and trigger guard. Grips are excellent. Action is tight. Bore is bright. Even the cylinder face shows almost no wear.
