This rebuilt rifle features a Rock Island 1903 receiver with a 1905 era date of manufacture and has an S.A. Springfield 10-06 barrel with bomb. The walnut stock has the wide finger grooves but has the two bolt re-enforcements. The rear sight is 2700 yards. Later handguard with sight groove. Shows all milled parts with trap door, smooth butt plate and smooth trigger. There are no visible cartouche stamps on stock but the proof B at base of wrist. Finish is blue. CONDITION: Very good. The receiver is a pleasing blue patina mix with sharp legends as is the barrel. Floorplate is patina. Wood is excellent with scattered dings and impressions. Bore is bright.
