Manufactured in 1908 at the Tula Arsenal and stamped on the right with the Peter the Great Eagle. Finished in early lustrous polished blue with brilliant nitre blue small parts. Drift adjustable half moon front sight and v-notch rear. Gas seal cylinder operated by single action only, as is appropriate for early Tsarist produced guns. Grips are checkered wood. Externally visible numbers matching on frame, trigger guard, and cylinder. No visible import marks. CONDITION: Good. Revolver retains the majority of its original arsenal blue with areas of wear and loss. Grips are good with well defined checkering and one larger impression on the left side. Bore is strong and bright with cleaned spots of abrasion. Crisp mechanics.
